The PRINT3R team approached me to be a key architect in creating the world's first permissionless, chain-agnostic perpetual dex, something completely unique that would set them apart in the crowded DeFi market. They needed a platform that put user experience first and would create a completely seamless on-chain trading experience that let users not only trade any asset, but also create their own 1000X markets for exotic tokens, as soon as they've launched. No matter what chain they're on. This platform had to be built for the first time ever, to allow users to trade anything, all in one place.
Scope of Work
Users first — always. Designing with accessibility at the core was non-negotiable.
From day one, the PRINT3R team made it clear: the dApp had to be intuitive, mobile-first, and accessible to a broad audience. That meant rethinking the typical DeFi UX — stripping away friction, simplifying flows, and addressing the common pain points users face across the space.
Abstracting away the pain points of DeFi.
A key part of the design process was removing complexity and making onboarding seamless for everyone — not just seasoned DeFi users. PRINT3R was built to onboard the next wave of traders, which meant implementing account abstraction and offering multiple entry points. Experienced users could connect their wallets and dive straight into creating leveraged markets. Meanwhile, newcomers could sign up in seconds using familiar methods like Google or Apple Pay, and on-ramp funds with just a few taps.
Built for precision and power on desktop.
While mobile-first was the priority, the desktop experience was carefully designed for users who trade at scale and demand maximum control. PRINT3R's web app offers advanced tooling, responsive layouts, and a clean interface that prioritizes speed and clarity. Power users can manage positions, build custom markets, and analyze trends with minimal friction — all within a responsive UI that feels just as intuitive as it is powerful.
Designing a brand that felt as sharp as the product.
Beyond the app, I worked closely with the core team to shape PRINT3R’s visual identity from the ground up — building a cohesive brand system that extended across UI components, social content, and pitch materials. I developed a scalable design system in Figma, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.
To support key marketing pushes, I also produced 3D assets and animations that helped communicate the protocol’s unique mechanics. From homepage visuals to token announcements, every asset was crafted to feel dynamic, modern, and unmistakably PRINT3R.
