A Seamless Lending Experience Across Chains

LEND is a first-of-its-kind omnichain lending protocol, designed from the ground up to make borrowing and lending assets across multiple blockchains intuitive, secure, and fast. I was brought in at the inception stage to shape the user experience, define the brand language, and guide the interface and visual identity through every layer of the product. From designing frictionless cross-chain user flows to building a modern, trust-inspiring identity, my goal was to ensure that LEND’s vision—permissionless, composable liquidity—was reflected in every interaction and pixel.
Scope of Work
Designing UX for a Borderless Protocol
Building UI for an omnichain protocol comes with its own set of challenges—and opportunities. The LEND interface had to make it feel like users were operating within a single cohesive platform, even as they moved assets across multiple chains behind the scenes.
From day one, the goal was simplicity without compromise. We stripped away unnecessary complexity and focused on creating modular UI components that could scale with future features and chain integrations. Every step of the borrowing and lending flow was refined through real user feedback, making sure both DeFi natives and new users could navigate with confidence.
The end result is an interface that feels light, fast, and frictionless—designed to meet the expectations of users in a multichain world.
A Mobile Experience That Doesn’t Feel Like a Compromise.
For LEND, mobile wasn’t an afterthought — it was a priority. In a space where most DeFi apps struggle to translate complex functionality into smaller screens, we wanted LEND to feel intuitive and familiar from the very first tap.
The interface was restructured to work fluidly across breakpoints, with layouts optimized for gesture-based navigation and one-handed interaction. Critical actions like depositing, borrowing, and chain switching are all easily accessible within a few taps, while subtle micro-interactions and transitions provide visual feedback without interrupting the flow.
We treated every mobile constraint as an opportunity — stripping away noise, tightening copy, and enhancing clarity. The result is an experience that feels native to mobile, without sacrificing the depth or capability expected from a powerful omnichain lending platform.
Onboarding Without the Friction.
LEND was built for a new wave of users — not just DeFi veterans. That meant our onboarding needed to work for both. From day one, we designed a flow that removed unnecessary friction while preserving the power and flexibility DeFi users expect.
Instead of forcing a wallet connect on first visit, we introduced soft entry points that allow users to explore the interface, understand the product, and get comfortable before committing. For new users, we leveraged account abstraction and embedded wallet tech to enable simple signups via Google or Apple — no seed phrases, no steep learning curve.
Behind the scenes, we streamlined chain selection, token approvals, and asset bridging into a unified process, abstracting away complexity without hiding transparency. From first click to active position, the entire onboarding journey was reimagined to feel fast, fluid, and safe.
Airdrop, Designed for Virality.
The LEND airdrop campaign wasn’t just a token giveaway — it was a brand-building moment. I designed the entire user experience to be frictionless, gamified, and inherently shareable, turning early users into advocates and amplifiers.
The flow guided users from initial claim to deeper protocol interaction: staking, referring friends, and completing quests that familiarized them with LEND’s core mechanics. Every stage of the process was visually polished and on-brand, reinforcing trust and excitement around the drop.
To drive viral growth, I introduced custom shareables — personalized claim cards, dynamic leaderboards, and social preview assets that encouraged users to broadcast their participation. The result? A measurable spike in community engagement, wallet connections, and organic reach — all without paid acquisition.
A Unified Dashboard for Omnichain Lending.
Designing the LEND dashboard meant translating complex omnichain mechanics into a simple, intuitive interface. I built a control center where users could seamlessly supply assets, borrow against collateral, and monitor positions across chains — all from one unified experience.
From real-time health ratios to cross-chain APRs, every element was designed for clarity and confidence. Tooltips, progressive disclosures, and visual cues guided users through advanced actions without overwhelming them. The design balanced data density with usability, enabling both DeFi power users and newcomers to navigate effortlessly.
The result is a dashboard that feels lightweight but powerful — one that abstracts away the protocol’s underlying complexity and gives users the information and tools they need to act, fast.
